This is my latest undertaking, a 4'x6' oil painting of my son playing his upright bass. It's larger than life-size! You can see the actual bass by the canvas for reference. I took some black and white photos during a concert and loved the high value range the stagelighting created on the instrument and on Lance's face and hands.
